I know what I want to do after my work period ends.. I want to cling onto my new bought babe and slack in Starbucks, read my bible, study MSM, MM and ME. I want to do yoga, I want to eat healthy, give tuition, sleep in, run, eat, take photos. August suddenly seems like a very good month. On the other hand, if any job comes my way, i'll probably grab them to fill the empty pocket that I have. My new babe is going to cost me my entire paycheck for this month. hmmmhmmmhmmm~

L4D adds to stress level. It officially makes people MORE tensed and agitated. I do not understand the rationale behind gaming to chill. Maybe with other less intensive games, with L4D, there's no room for chilling! entire of the screen is attacking you! even your teammates at times(misfire)

I woke up at 8. Tried to do my profit and loss statement and balance sheet. 3 hours!! I used 3 hours and I couldn't get the answer.. I AM SUPER DEJECTED! I have 4 units to complete this term; Psychology, Macro econs, POA and Organization Theory. I am nowhere near completing any of my units! This feels like de javu, I was in this exact same situation a year ago. And I swore to start earlier this year, but somehow you do not see the need to start studying early ESPECIALLY when no one around you is studying.. I came up with a study plan, but I did not find my determination and the discipline to follow the plan. I spent the entire day loading 3 episodes of hk drama series facebook-ing and solitaire-ing while waiting. Now I am loading the 4th episode while blogging.

Happy New Year!

Saw my siblings packing and preparing for school makes me miss the days in secondary school, when i get all excited packing my new pencil cases, new wallet, new bag, new shoes, blah blah blah. Then I start calling my friends, set a time to meet at the bus stop or to take the bus together. when I was in Primary 4, on the first day of school, my teacher made us sit on the floor and asked how we felt the night before, and i gave her the perfect answer *beams* "EXCITED!" i said. and she went "Yes! How many of you felt excited?" a few hands shot up. First day of school and i became the teacher's favorite student! Then in Sec 1. It was the first day i had to report to QSS. We were still using the old campus with dirty toilets and gloomy buildings. and the most welcoming scene. PUBLIC CANING. Just imagine how traumatizing it was for the young ah bengs ah lians to-be. Anyways, i was late for school (no not my fault, must be my dad who overslept!) and i forgot which class i was in. so i had to run to the parade square try and imagine i was in some class i wanted to be in and just sat down. very quickly i looked around and realised i was amongst these.. weird looking people. my guts told me i was in the wrong class, so i poked the person sitting infront of me and asked "hello.. erms, wad class is this?" i forgot wad the reply was but bottom line was that i realised i was in this normal acad class. so i just took my very heavy bag in my very long skirt stood up (super embarrassing pls) and walked to my class. First day in jc was not very significant. I can't really remember how it was.. All i recall was that i was trying hard to get outta school cuz i wanted to go for lunch with my parents.

Secondary school was probably the best time of my school life.. i love my friends i love the memories i love things i did, i love my teachers(I THINK). I was a BAD student. owells. everyone has to go through a certain rebellious phase of life. so i was an ahlian. (just trying to be wad my name suggest? *shrugs*) I was rude to teachers, i cut my hair real short(horrendously) I hurled vulgarities, I hung out in shopping malls, pick fights etc etc... I was never proud of myself in lower sec but i got out of it anyways~ I studied (not well enough though) I went for field trips, I represented school in talks, I did prom.

I lost count of the times I said I hate Jc life. I still do. Thoughts of the people* I met makes me shudder. On the list of most horrible ordeal I had to go through was my class. I have never been in a class with so much internal conflicts going on. adding onto the heap, they did it so meekly within the own cliques and put up a pretentious front, you never know who is true. The class was so divided so calculative so particular being in it was the worst stint in history. yes you won the stinkiest spirit!

他是我中学时期最要好的朋友！就记得那次我被某某可恶的人欺负，并在路上巧遇，要不是有好朋友的陪伴和开解，我才不知道自己会做出什么愚蠢的事！（例如赏那可恶的人几个耳光）我们在一起读书的时光最宝贵，但是人小蠢事多，他后来变得不是很爱读书，我也没多加去理会，就和别的朋友一起读书，就这样，我们相聚的时光就只限于教室内。除了偶尔放了学一起看部电影，我还真不记得我们还有什么相处的时间。手受了伤之后，他也没什么打篮球，之后又不知怎么的认识了一些怪怪的朋友，让我越看越气愤，决定让他自甘堕落。毕业之后，我也不在常主动联络。当时他还与那群怪怪的人扯在一块儿，看了我心里万分不爽，劝也劝过了，骂也骂过了，他不听，我又能怎样？

那段时间过后，还发生了很多事。。。

It has been a week since school started! And as always, school has been kind (minus some disruptions here and there), and i want to blog about it! haha.

Monday(school-less) IAN's ENLISTMENT! =((
Was suppose to meet edwinn for movie/museum/dinner, but granny took a fall the night before so I went with her to the hospital for an X-ray. Wait at the A&E took really long! Close 5 hours before granny could go. AND! just some stats to fill! in the short stay of 5 hours there were 3 army men admitted into the A&E! that would be 0.6 army men/hr/hospital! *Pray pray- please let all my army friends be fine!* Chongy seems to be enjoying army though! haha. FABULOUS! Met Edwinn after the ordeal for dinner! We went to Mad jack @ Bukit Timah followed by ice cream, at island creamery! Dinner was pretty!! Pretty food, pretty company, pretty dessert! Pretty mood!

Tuesday (OTIA 12-3)
Went OTIA with Bestie Soo! OTIA sounds like a lot of fun! IBM + Soci + Psychology. haha! That aside, it depicts very-difficult-to-score.. =(( After class, bestie accompanied me to Bugis! We ate! shopped! played! He has been busy recently and I can well foresee his busyness will not fade anytime soon! After shopping, I met the GAYNESS for KTV! =DD it was DUPER fun! yizhou has a heart which is too soft! Ty loves pole dancing! josh is singing kingg! cindy is singing angel! very stable n sweet vocal! ezq is the shyyy boy! haha! anyways! it was just a superb night out! next trip!! FARM MART! =DD

830 lesson sucks! I was late for close 45 mins. they ran out of notes! =( Had lunch with Yizhou, TY and yizhou's friend (i can't spell her name) =X We had fishh soup! and i found hair in my fish soup!!! =((( gross! @#* haha! It was Rayth's first time driving out! He drove TY and I from Ngeeann to the gates of SIM! hahaha! It was quite fun! Rayth and I went on to eat icecream at sunset bay! strawberry ice cream cone! Strawberry taste was truly strong. Strawberry short cake icecream was nicer! Went with Rayth to return his car and took train to town! Met bestie Ben and went to SimLim square to get his handphone charger! bestie is botak now! haha like when he was in sec 2! =DD haha!

hello back

It has been abit since I last blogged. Too caught up with life that I forgot I had a spot here. It has been 2 months since exams ended and holiday started, but I can't recall doing much. I've just been watching drama, cutting down on socialising, baking, cooping up at home, giving tuition and now working in starhub(thankyouTY). Most of the plans I had for holidays didn't seem to work out after all.. no. I didn't manage to travel. No London/Switzerland/Hongkong/Thailand/even Pulau Ubin. no. I didn't manage to save alot. I spent whatever I had during GSS. no. I didn't tour Singapore. My friends didn't find much fun in playing in Singapore.. no. I have not clubbed. That.. I can probably shrug off, not much losses. no. I haven't been hanging out with the 202 peps. no. I havent read any econs text. no.no.no.

Inspite all the no.s. I have been quite happy with life. (minus some irritants which pops up occasionally) I watched quite a few drama series. My sassy mother-in-law1 and 2 Tang Xin Feng Bao(didn't manage to complete), Forbidden Love (Nine Tailed Fox Tale), Let's Go To The Beach, My Date with Vampire and some others I can't really recall. For the past months, I read, bought clothes, designed my dairy, facebooked, watched a whole series of singing competition... the nos didn't seem too important anymore. I didn't think that I could just stay at home the entire day for consecutive days. mit said in his blog it's a form of growing up and being self sufficient, maybe it is. haha. BUT! i'm not a cynic like he is. I get bothered by things, I love the world still! The world is always looking out for me! I believe! =))

hello! An eventful week passed and it is time to update!

Met Mel and Mit for Sentosa. It was so nice! We spent the whole day on the beach slacking, munching, talking, bitching, playing with sand (sounds spastic) and with uno stacko. The only bad thing was that it was not sunny! Mit and I bought a whole new bottle of sun tanning oil but only to find it a waste of cash since the sun went into the clouds as soon as we reached the island. Mel was really late but it's alright! Better late then never! We went for dou jiang you tiao and carrot cake at Vivo! Duper yummy!!! Mel claims that Mit and her are on the same frequency cuz Mit can totally relate to her retardedness, but I'll just say, "Mit is a patient guy that's why he can stand you meh..." HAHA. We went for late night drink at a bar in Vivo, I've no idea what that place is called but according to Mel's blog it's Serendipity, so there! Mit recommended Erdinger white and IT WAS SO NICE! Best beer I had tried so far! THANK YOU MEHHH FOR the treat! =DD Hearts you!

Went East Coast with dom the next day!! we munched quite a bit! Had Kebab chicken roll, French toast and Mango Ice Cream with Mango Pudding! It was yummy!! Too bad it rained a little too much! And dom bought me a bear from the charity drive! So cute! hearts you! We went for dinner in Geylang and I finally got to see for myself what the place is made of! There was an unbelievable array of "products" (as dom claimed) standing along the streets and they are not just any Made in China products. Even if they are MIC(which I don't know how to differentiate), they are "quality products"!!!! Merciful goddess. And the process of "goods selection" will take place across the street where the dirty ol'men (of all races and nationality) stand. Truthfully speaking, it was a real EYE OPENER!!! Dinner was good too! We had Beef Kway Teow which I had always longed to try, YUMS YUMS YUMS! OHHH! We walked pass this pub/club/wadever-they-call-it, and there was a police raid! IT WAS SO COOL~~~ okie. I was just over-reacting, the girls had to come out of the lounge in a queue and I dunno what happened afterwards. But just by watching HongKong dramas... I can pretty much imagine.. LAUGHS!

I bought my new sport shoes today!! Thank you Billy for his staff discount! I got my shoes off at 51%!!! WOOOOOT! =DD Purple White Purple White Purple White~ I'm going to joggggg with Karen! bleahhhh!

I think I need cash! More cash! Extra Cash! and I really need a planner! I have so many over lapping events that I agreed to but can't keep up with. All because my sister doodled all over my current planner with her tuition dates with me. RARHHHH! NEW PLANNER PLEASE! I need to keep track of my personal life!

I can't update pictures recently cuz I've NO INKLING of how to get my phone connected to the computer as some funny driver is missing. I've tried thousand and one ways but nothing fathoms... *Shrugs* something will work out soon I hope! I've so many photos to share!! Drinking eating playing prancing singing laughing enjoying...

Exams are over!!! It was only yesterday that I realised the last time I had a holiday was 9 months ago(minus the study breaks). I have 3 months worth of holiday now!

There's always the after exam emptiness that makes you mope. I tried to fill my days with activities, but somehow none can give as much utility as what can be derived from books.

Are we looking at the wrong directions of our lives?

Occasions like these, I ask myself if the paths I am taking in life are right, but like seriously, who is to define what is right and what is wrong with my life? Choosing to not do well in Alevels, landed me in SIM. SIM? It is the degree that I get out of the course. I am really suspicious of how far it can bring me. Nageb told us even a second upper class is inadequate, so why am I wasting time here studying and slogging away for a degree that is not backing my future? I am just very unsure of everything at this point of life. What did I land myself into? Joining of SRC and taking up more tuitions. This should not be the way or is it?

Mounting these thoughts, I have been waking up almost everyday in tremor. Forgetting what day it is, what I have to do for the day. So imagine every morning, I will open my eyes and see sunlight, sending me to a frantic search of the time and recalling what day it is, if I have morning lessons or work that I missed. It is NOT a very nice way to start my day. I go to bed in fear that I did not set my alarm at the right time, and I wake up in fear that I did not set my alarm right the night before. UH HUH..

I cannot even do things as well as I did in the past. Those that I used to be so proud of, and would not hesitate to taunt anyone with the fact that I am good at it. But I just lost it. Where did my confidence go?

Can someone tell me what is wrong with me??

Maybe I should spend some time blogging all over again

Life is more than just your own pasture...

After 3 days of work in Chinatown, I took time off my lunch break and ventured around the place yesterday. I love Chinatown! It is not just a buzzing quarter, it is like reading a chapter off the history book, all pictures u register, vividly narrate the story of the culturally rich district.

Disturbed.. Not?

Work was not that bad. Just a strained muscle and a pair of strength-less hands. My best mate came to work. Though it was a little late, still, it was good! And I met Ben for lunch! Ben is now working in AudioHouse! Just a few steps away from my workplace! Lunch was plainly Macs, it was quite a pleasure. So it was best friend day yesterday! =))

To only complain about it and take no concrete steps to rectify the issue will no doubt lead to the growth of the problem. But it is not easy to disentangle the knots! There are too many factors to mull over and to be hindered by these factors, will bring you nowhere close to solving the problem.

Storyline
I have a job. This job is not doing me any good except for having more time to spend with my best friend. The people there are generally unfriendly. Like how the manager said, "Here, you'll feel that you're thrown into the vast ocean. And you'll float alone. At first you won't feel comfortable but at the end of it, you'll get used to the lonesome journey back to the shore and won't feel too bad about it." Right. Very True. But why should I throw myself into such a situation? Why do I even want to jump into the sea to get myself wet and helpless when I can stay dry and loved on the land?

This, is mis-decision NO. 1. Throwing myself into the sea. (without knowing that it was the sea! Some misinterpretations here and there) Hence, after dropping into the sea, I found my only log to cling on was my best friend. However, I have to recognize the fact that the log will not be there always for me to cling on and to pull me on this journey.

SO! I have to face SEA MONSTERS myself! MONSTER 1. BIG FAT GLOBBY WORDS SPUTTER. He'll create current to push you back to your starting line, puts you down and thinks he's funny. HA HA HA! FUNNY MY FOOT. MONSTER 2. SMALL SKINNY POINTING-UP-AND-DOWN AH MA MA. She's Fine.. She plainly likes to add on to the currents that BIG FAT GLOBBBY WORDS SPUTTER creates. MONSTER 3. FLOATING ASS-LICKING MAGGOT. I CANNOT STAND HIS DEPTHLESS monologue with the heads. And I SAID MONOLOGUE! SOMEONE PLEASE DRAG HIM AWAY!

The rest are generally more subtle creatures (maybe just yet to show their true colors) However, the superficialness that floats in the air is suffocating me! It's darn maddening to make superficial conversations. And to shoot rude remarks at their peers. AND THEY MEANT their remarks. SO imagine.

Hmmm... How is this organization hanging on? Hostility is in the air and it darningly is not very pleasing. And to hand around with them, I get affected too! I may not be a very friendly creature, but I do not fit into this bunch of intimidating people.

Of course! Apart from the cloudy moments, there are rare sunshine. BUT! You would not know if thunders and lightnings come after the sun shine! And you are clueless if the sun is really shining or just some disillusion. It is just not a good environment to work in.

Now comes the part where concrete steps I would like to take to solve this melancholy. And hindering me is none other than my 9 years of best mate. Leaving the workplace is letting her down. My social role here is as a friend, a very good friend, a best friend. Why should I dwell? I don't even have time!

mm... I swear I tried my very best to not sleep during sociology today.. But like every other attempts, I failed. Maybe I should reflect on my daily sleeping habits and maybe the teacher would like to inject more life into her lecture? I don't think I' m the only person who's falling asleep in her class! Sociology... Sigh... Econs too! kills the spirit!!

It hasn't been quiet these days... Solemness are most minimal (probably only at work) which is pretty cool. Melissa is coming home for attachment, Jenny is coming home from Taiwan, (I think he bought me shoes/slippers! yummy!) I'm doing Dinner & Dance (a lil something that I've always liked) and I'm studying! The only thing that I can complain about is probably working... It's political, it's darn stressful and you have to be cautious of whom you're speaking with. Alrights, maybe I did exaggerate a little, but the bottom line stays.
My very eventful week passed. More ahead! Slumber Night, endless dinners, shopping! I am back to where I used to be! =)) I can't even fit work into my next week's schedule!! I need a haircut too! Plus a little menicure and maybe an extra pedicure!

Just recently I missed the days I had in Hong Kong badly. Maybe I'm sick of this city. Maybe I'm sick of just certain places. Maybe I just need to get away from these familiarities, maybe there'll be certain chances for me to do so. Maybe the grass is greener on the other side. Maybe it's all but dust. Maybe getting away is something that everyone wishes to do. Maybe having too many uncertainties aren't that good. Maybe I should start working towards my desired life...

More then 3 months ago, I fell into a pond of water... At first, there were logs and wood for me to cling on, though I lose grip very often, the supply of logs and wood are still abundant. I took them for granted and just let loose as and when I felt like...
1 month passed... I was unhappy that the wood and logs could not keep me dry and warm... I was still in the water. I was angry with the logs and wood and no matter how many times they float to my side for me to cling on, I pushed them away and swam on myself... Wood and logs felt hurt by my actions but still stayed by me. At that point of time I was already in the river.

One day, cold and tired, I got so mad that I told wood and logs to get out of my sight and that I do not want to see them again! I was just venting my frustrations on them. I was nearing the waterfall, I did not see... I went with the water flow and fell 10 feet high down the waterfall. I was badly injured and bruised. I miss the company of the wood and logs. I told wood and logs to come back to me, and they did.. They hang on by my side... But they are no longer the wood and logs I used to cling onto.. They are now infested and rottening away... for they stayed too long with me in the water... They no longer treat me as well as they did, for they were tired too.. Now.. here I am...
3 months later, still treading in the water, only that now, I'm in the ocean, so vast, and so alone. Logs and wood are serving me still, but no longer as readily as before.

Ride to the last...
For the very first time of my life, I rode a bike. Nono. not a bicycle bike, a motorbike bike. /readers*rolleyes- BIGGIE?* Hey! BIG OKAY! And I swear I look retarded in the helmet! I looked like some big headed freaky kid from next door who eats glue. All thanks to my longest bestfriend, she has been doing all these things to me since Primary 4! I can't believe it! I actually accepted rides from her!! bloody yikes!

Busy weekend busy week.. Finally, the end of all miseries. Hmmm not much of miseries actually, planning parties and events has been my liking and what I'd want to do in the future. Other then my frequent procrastinations and a few unhelpful mates here and there, everything went pretty well. Elsie's Kitchen was not a bad choice. The Otah, Sotong Youtiao, Assorted Snacks & Pastries were kind of to-die-for. Okie. Omit the Sotong Youtiao! This is for thy mates whom given me much support and help. TakoFry, Vivo Maki, Butabara, Tebasaki, Yakitori, Sake Harasu, NikuShiitake, Garlic fried rice, Tori Katsu Curry Don, Softshell Crab, Warabi Mochi, Matcha Icecream, Kiwi Cheesecake, Yuzu tea, Peach Tea Ocha.. I think I'm the only customer who can recite all the food I ordered without looking at the receipt. wahaha=)) Enjoyed!!

Met derfla for dinner.. He overslept, missed lunchtime and had to go for school with an empty stomach and empty wallet (after the over $15 cabfare) so he resembled... a pig which hasn't eaten for a year.. For starters we had the British fast food down at Raffles City. It was quite.. eww.. in comparison to those that I bought from Pasar Malam after tuition last week, it was SO MUCH below standard! When eaten without cheese, it was just plain flour that you taste.. hmm quite horrible.. It wasn't my first try actually but this time round it plainly tasted more horrible. =)) so poor hungry pig derfla had to make do with the tasteless food. =(( Guess dinner at my house was better, at least he looked happier eating 'em. =)) =)) =))

Hintak is in Hongkong now.. She was telling me about the lovely sale going on over there and not like when I was there earlier this year, it's summer SALE! The most enjoyable lunch...

Lunch yesterday was splendorous! Xiao Yan said we should take more extraordinary pictures so as to prove that we are no "mundane & NORMAL" bloggers... wells pictures are for desserts. Derfla brought yan Tigger and I out for lunch. Korean cuisine! My first authentic Korean meal, taking into considerations that the rest that I had were not very appetizing .

It's this small eatery, Nul Bom, located at Telok Ayer street. No attractive renovations, no grand furnishings, just this cosy little room for four. Being a MCP(as always), Derfla ordered his badly missed favorite dishes, those that he had in Korea. This one time I'll forgive his MCPness, it was so so so enjoyable! Sam Gyup Sal, Sam Gye Tang, blahh blahh dun ask me.. I've NO CLUE what those are.. Korean rice cake (I insisted), Ginseng Chicken Soup, Vege wrap with grilled buta bara, Grilled pork on hot plate, Grilled Kimchi, bits and bits of appetisers and the LEAST enjoyable, PIG's BLOOD!

I enjoyed EVERYTHING except for the pig's blood or rather, I'd decided to give it a miss. haha... Melissa! I'll bring you there someday you'll enjoy it I promise! aha.. pictures ahead!
